Chartered Institute of Linguists Hong Kong Society (CIoLHKS)

The Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) is UK's only national and international body serving professional linguists (translators, interpreters, language educationalists and those in business, the professions and government). Founded in 1910, CIOL is now the leading language professional body in UK and one of the most significant language institutions in the world. The Hong Kong Society of CIOL (CIoLHKS) was established in 1984. It is committed to promoting professional use of languages in Hong Kong. It organizes professional development functions for local members and the public, and publishes a newsletter and an academic journal. The Hong Kong Society is now the biggest regional society of the Chartered Institute of Linguists.

Caritas Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) aspires to be a leading post-secondary institute, recognised for excellence and innovation in higher and continuing education, and student success within the basis of Catholic values and traditions. The Institute will continue to be one of the prime choices for students seeking associate, undergraduate or postgraduate degree studies in order to equip themselves for career advancement in the job market, or for the pursuit of further academic studies. The ultimate goal of the Institute is to become a constituent college in the future Catholic University of Hong Kong.

Department of English Language & Literature, Hong Kong Shue Yan University

Shue Yan is the first private university in Hong Kong. The university promotes academic freedom and seeks to contribute to the betterment of society through the pursuit of truth, knowledge, wisdom and a deeper understanding of humanity. Shue Yan emphasises the preservation and propagation of traditional Chinese culture and the educational ideals of Confucianism, making it a very valuable addition to the educational matrix of Hong Kong. The university presently offers 13 undergraduate degree programmes and 5 postgraduate programmes in the areas of Accounting, Business Administration, Chinese Language and Literature, Counselling and Psychology, Economics and Finance, English language and Literature, History, Journalism and Communication, Law and Business, Social Work, and Sociology.
